We are leaving from LAX on Thursday 2/16!! I can't believe it! We are soooo excited. It has been a long, long wait. Long. Did I mention long.
We went out to eat at Sakura Ojai with the Kern family last night to celebrate. It was great to see Moorea, Justin, and Roni. Luckily Doug and Marcy were there, too! It was great fun and the sake was flowing.... Sushi is gooood. Can I have sushi in Kazakhstan??

ohh how exciting!! How long are you going to be there. I know of another family who adopted from Kaz and she ended up in country for close to 2 months. That would be a long time without sushi!

YEAH! I will steal a quote from a card we received nt too long ago..."Congratulations on your new names...."Mommy and Daddy." But in your case, it will be more like, "Mama and Papa." We will be glued to your site! I can't wait to see pictures of Maks and the gang! Maybe not sushi, but there is a lot of seafood in Kazakhstan. 4 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!!! SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!
